Making a difference for Big Brothers, Big Sisters
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound got a roomful of support – and money – on Oct. 20 as its 47th annual BIG Event auction raised $575,000 for the organization.
A chance to win a trips to the Iditarod and Paris, plus autographed guitars from Dave Matthews and Pearl Jam, helped spur the bidding.
The room was full of patrons who wanted to make a difference to a child. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound (www.bbbsps.org.) provides children facing adversity with on-going one-to-one relationships that can impact their lives and promote their future success.
