Jewelry fans “Indulge” at BAM

Bellevue Arts Museum opened its doors to jewelry designers, collectors and appreciators alike this weekend for the first annual jewelry marketplace entitled INDULGE. The event began with a Preview Launch party on Friday, February 5.
Bellevue Arts Museum was filled with Bellevue’s finest in their finest for the sold out event. Attendees of the Preview Launch Party were able to sip champagne and snack on an assortment of chocolates and h’orderves while perusing through thirty displays from international artists.
Artists came from all over the United States and Canada to display their finest and most stylish jewelry. The jewelry was an eclectic collection of both basic elegant pieces and artistic designs.
The event was by invitation only for the artists which included nine from the Seattle area and two Bellevue artists: Iris Guy and Ronna Sarvas Weltman. Other artists were from areas such as New York City, Vancouver, BC and San Francisco as well as many others across the country.
INDULGE continued Saturday afternoon at 11 a.m. and wrapped up on Sunday evening at 5 p.m. Proceeds from INDULGE will go towards benefitting the exhibitions and programs at
Bellevue Arts Museum.
Sponsors included Seattle Homes and Lifestyles, the Bellevue Reporter, NPR KPIU 88.5, The City Catering Company, Lisa Dupar Catering, Kaspars, Chateau Ste Michelle, Talking Rain, LUSH, 7 Salon, Palomino and Small Vineyards.
