Vogue and The Bellevue Collection partnered with Assouline and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for a memorable evening with Fashion Designer Cynthia Rowley and author Rima Suqi.  Rima’s book American Fashion Designers at Home is a new coffee table book filled with exquisite photos inside the homes of leading fashion designers.

Suqi shared, “After perpetual traveling and the crushes of Fashion Week, designers, too, need a retreat from couture’s glittering society.”

Each page offers the reader a sneak peek into the homes of 100 members of the CFDA, opening the door that reveals where fashion’s most creative people relax, and hopefully do not take their work home with them.

CFDA member and Fashion Designer Cynthia Rowley was a party guest, sharing her home that is featured in this new collectible book, along with her fall 2010 collection. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) honored Cynthia with the prestigious Perry Ellis Award for Womenswear and recognized her with a nomination for New Menswear Design Talent. Her fall collection was filled with feminine lady like looks.

Above the knee sheath dresses and flirty skirts; pencil thin and loose fitting pants with side pockets; along with hooded, wrap and knee length coats. Her key accessories to compliment each look were boots worn on every model, leather gloves and belts, patterned and lace stockings, feather trims, and bold necklaces.  A very fun collection with clothing pieces to update every girl’s fall wardrobe.
