Janet Taylor began her career in newspapers in 1988 with Lee Enterprises at the Missoulian in Montana. With more than 20 years devoted to the newspaper industry in one facet or another, Taylor remains confident in the future of community journalism. She believes in fair, accurate and relevant news to keep the community informed and connected. She and her husband of 34 years, Hank, enjoy skiing, tasting the fabulous wines of Washington, gardening, hiking, spending time with their family, their bicycles, the Harley and traveling.

Craig Groshart has been editor of the Bellevue Reporter since its expansion in January 2007. He has worked at dailies and weeklies in the Northwest for more than 30 years. He lives in Bellevue.

Lindsay Larin loves giving a voice to the community. Though she works on a wide range of subjects, some of her favorites are human interest, non-profits, small business, fashion, wine and happenings around town. She graduated with her B.A from Washington State University in 2006.

Tatevik Aprikyan

Tatevik Aprikyan| Spring/Summer Intern

Tatevik Aprikyan is currently wrapping up her BA in journalism. She has worked for National Public Radio, served as a student anchor for Comcast television, columnist for the Kenmore-Bothell Reporter and was the editor of her high school newspaper. Tatevik loves fashion and was a former teen fashion model. She speaks four languages, enjoys traveling, playing tennis and couldn’t live without Starbucks.  


Rachel Kim | Columnist

The voice behind VueSociety (www.vuesociety.com) a fashion blog for the Eastside is Rachel Kim. Rachel was born and raised in New York then Sammamish, WA (AKA: the ‘plateau’) worked in fashion in NY post college and is now back to call Bellevue her home where she wants to take part in this fashion culture that’s moving as fast as the growth of the city. If you love Zara you can be Rachel’s best friend. She loves it so much she is petitioning to bring it here to Bellevue. Kim tries to be a social media participant through Twitter and other application platforms, but due to her outdated Blackberry she is very limited. She is also an avid coffee drinker like a true Seattlite, but she has never left New York. New York will always be in her heart.

Freelancer | Marianne Berg Heywood is a freelance writer living in Bellevue.  She occasionally escapes from her four children through a great meal and a captivating book.
