Check out these amazing photos of the U.S Navy Blue Angels as they fly high above the Eastside in preparation of Seafair weekend. The I-90 bridge will be closed this week to accommodate the Blue Angels’ practice and shows during Seafair. Drivers who want to ensure that they can cross the lake using I-90 should drive across Lake Washington at least one hour before the announced closure times, according to WSDOT.

Thursday, Aug. 5

9:45 a.m.-12 p.m.; 1:15 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 6

12:45 p.m.-2:40 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 7

12:45 p.m.-2:40 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 8

12:45 p.m.-2:40 p.m.

The center roadway will be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 6-8. Mercer Island on-ramps to westbound I-90 will close 30 minutes prior to the lane closures, including West Mercer Way from Roanoke Way to S.E. 24th. Access on West Mercer Way from Roanoke Way to the 2100 block of West Mercer Way will be available only to residents and their guests.
